Big Sur

I celebrated the end of computer architecture hiking at the Julia Pfeiffer Burns state park about 150 miles (on road) to the south of Berkeley. The drive, with the ocean on one side of the road and hills on the other, is lovely. The hiking trails are even better.

The people...

the places...

and the end...

I see a watch in your hand. Is it the same that your dad gifted you? The citizen digital watch?

I remember the watch because it was the gift that you got from your dad. Which implied that he was proud of you and wanted to reward you. Such a feeling in DADs was rare in our whole groups as each one of us (me, manish, rochak, mahim, tadu...) were hell bent on skinning every penny off our father's bodies. Meanwhile, also making sure that we do not achieve something significant so that nobody feels that money went into the right hands. So, your watch was a unique entry in our group.

Sorry for the Timex-2-Citizen goof-up.

And thanks for the advice on Hindi. I was finally able to upload something in Hindi onto my own blog and other webspaces like emails. Thanks a lot. I shall soon upload the works of Harishankar Parsai (Hindi ke prassidhdh vyangakar) onto my blog. Watch out for them, they are hilarious and might intrest you.
